Happy Fourth of July.

Unfortunately the weather isn’t  cooperating with our plans for hanging out by the pool for the day. We decide to all go out for breakfast while the rain clouds hopefully clear out. After we all finish our breakfast, and the sun still hasn’t appeared, we make a last minute plan to go bowling. We all have a good time at the small town staple, Holiday Lanes.

The weather improves in the afternoon and we get a chance to enjoy the pool again. I get a serious workout throwing Andre into the air and watching him splash into the pool about 100 times. He can’t get enough and it makes both of laugh a lot. I take a break from tossing Dre to mix up some holiday drinks for everyone to enjoy by the pool.

My brother, Tanya and the kids need to head back to NYC because Tanya has to work tomorrow. We all say our goodbyes to them and they take off late in the evening. I plan to ride back to NYC tomorrow with Alex to spend the night at my brothers place. I’m glad to have one more night to hang out with the family in upstate.

We stay up late playing games and listening to music in the new house.
